COVID Screening
All visitors to our clinic will be screened on booking and on entry into the office. If you screen positive for risk of COVID-19 infection, you will be asked to reschedule your appointment until it can be confirmed that you have screened negative.
Appointments
All visits to the office must be scheduled. We are always here for you. In order to minimize the number of visitors at any one time and for contact tracing purposes we will be asking you to make an appointment for not only examinations but for eyeglasses fitting, adjustments and repairs. If you call us from our parking lot for a repair, we will do our best to accommodate you.
Physical Distancing
We have increased our clinic hours and decreased the number of available appointments to decrease the number of visitors in our clinic at any one time. When it is time for your appointment, you will be taken directly to our examination area.
PPE
Rest assured, we are the same friendly faces behind those masks and face coverings. All team members will be wearing protective equipment. We will insist that you wear a mask as well. Please arrive to your appointment with a mask.
Disinfection
You will be asked to clean your hands on arrival into our clinic. We have expanded our clinic cleaning cycles to include all surfaces that could potentially transmit COVID-19. We still want you to find a frame you love but each frame you try on will be sterilized when you are done.
Screening Questions
We are required to ask you the following Ministry of Health COVID-19 screening questions. If you answer ‘YES’ to any of these questions, please call us in advance of your scheduled appointment so we can discuss it with you.
